A history that began long ago…

More than 2,000 years ago, Ipprocrate obtained a restorative and medicinal drink, created by the flowers of absinthe infused in wine. This drink was named “Ippocratico Wine” and was used by the Romans

It carries on in the Middle Age and Reinassance

During the Middle Ages, this drink was enriched with spices that came from the Far East and arrived in Italy through Venice. In the 600 Alessio, a piedmont erborist, brought the recipe to Vienna, where it was enjoyed and took the name “Wermut”, which translates to “absinthe” in German.
