This winery was established in the 1920’s by the Scanavino family. Traditional farmers and vine growers, they began a small trade selling the wine produced from their own vineyards, which are nestled in the rolling Langhe and Roero hills, near Alba. At the heart of their estate is the Rocca Priora wine cellar. Since its establishment and for the first time in Piedmont, they produced bottles, not demijons, in order to fulfill the expectations of their customers without any intermediary. That tradition is maintained in contemporary production of their Piedmont wines and Spumanti, in full accordance with their origin and tradition.
