The Torraccia del Piantavigna winery was established in 1990 in Ghemme, a small village located on the North Piedmont. The vineyards, situated in the DOCG areas of Ghemme and Gattinara, are spread over 40 hectares, devoted entirely to the production of Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Erbaluce grapes, the three most typical varieties of the North Piedmont. The Ghemme DOCG and Gattinara DOCG wines are the top of the line of the Torraccia selection. Both of them are national award winners. The philosophy of the company is to produce excellent quality wines at the right price point and with the highest respect of the environment.
